This ad has been dubbed controversial because it is racially offensive:
The ‘dark chocolate character’ seems to be female in nature…made to look like ‘she’ has long hair (or a weave) and long flowing ‘dress.’ That and the fact ‘she’ is shorter than her ‘White’ (or Asian or Latino) counterpart.
Let’s delve further…
Is the intimation ALSO that this ‘Black woman’ is the meat in a ‘White man sandwich?!’ (Note the caption below the logo…)

The attribution of those things being “bold” because they are dark and ” light golden” tread dangerously close to the implied good/evil & white/black connotations of old.
Mo’Kelly really hopes this ad campaign is either a hoax or simply a mock and never officially approved for distribution. But according to a number of marketing websites, this is supposed to be legit…I think I am moving to a solitary planet. It’s a DAMN cookie you frustrated people!
WOW! In the time it took to strip this cookie down and dive into every possible reason it is about being black or white I ate half a box of them.. lol! I don’t care what color they are.. I love me a cookie!
